Dr Willoughby Morgan

Bsc (Hons) MBChB MRCP MRCGP DTM&H (distinction) General Practitioner

Will was born in New Zealand and grew up in North-West Scotland.  As the Son, and Grandson, of a GP he values highly the long-term relationships and family-centred care that underpins high quality General Practice.  Being an independent GP in Chelsea allows him the time and resources to use his broad medical and life experience to provide the care that patients deserve.

After graduating from Bristol Medical School in 2003 he gained extensive experience in Emergency Medicine (A+E), General Medicine, Anaesthetics and ITU and Paediatrics, passing the exams for membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).  He later studied for the Diploma in Tropical Medicine at Liverpool, taking the top Milne Prize, then in 2011-12 spent a year in Uganda working as a University Lecturer and Senior Physician.  Following this, Will worked in South-West London gaining further experience in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Oncology and Palliative Care and Mental Health prior to NHS GP jobs in Notting Hill, Chelsea, Fulham and Hammersmith.

Since January 2017, Will has worked at the King-Lewis Family Practice.  Alongside this, he was an inaugural member of staff at The Portland Hospital Children’s Urgent Care Centre and continues to work regular sessions there and in the Adult Urgent Care Centre at The Lister Hospital in Chelsea, ensuring his skills in emergency medical care are maintained.

Will is a GP with a genuinely broad experience in healthcare.  He enjoys all aspects of General Practice, aspiring to provide excellence in care to all ages and all problems.  He is married with 2 young children and lives in South-West London.  Outside work and family, his interests include cycling, skiing, rugby (playing for Scotland at U18 level) and the theatre.
