BIOGRAPHY

Mr Vijay Wagh is a highly trained consultant ophthalmic surgeon in London’s famous Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital. He trained and worked as a specialist for many years at world-class institutes, including London’s Moorfields Eye Hospital, The Guys, and St Thomas’ Hospital, London.

Mr. Wagh manages all emergency and general ophthalmic conditions and specialises in Cataract, Anterior Segment and Oculoplastics surgeries. He specialises in Oculoplastic, eyelid and lacrimal surgery for watery eyes.

He has imparted lectures at various meetings and conferences and trained many Opticians and trainee eye surgeons.

Mr Wagh has expertise in the following areas:

Cataract Surgery: Micro incision cataract surgery in complex cases, Phacoemulsification, Refractive approach to cataract surgery: toric lenses, premium lens. Monovision.
Oculoplastic Surgery, eyelid surgery, Lacrimal (tear duct) surgery for watery eyes, Minor plastic surgery procedures such as removing moles & skin tags and eyelid lesions, and Eye socket surgery.
External Eye disease: Dry eye and Sjogren’s syndrome, Skin-related ocular surface problems: ocular rosacea, Allergic eye disease, Pterygium.
